Meet the Baker

Abigail Carr

Bienvenue! I'm Abigail, the baker behind Belle Fleur Pastries. This little bakery was born out of a love of two things- creating beautiful and delicious desserts, and all things French.

Like many bakers, my passion for baking was instilled at a young age by my mother, who always filled our home with the best cakes, cookies, and candies come every birthday and holiday season. I continue in her tradition by using her old fashioned buttercream recipe to flavor my macarons and other baked goods.

My love for baking naturally led to a desire to learn more about French pâtisserie and this soon bloomed into an obsession for all things French! Eventually I had the privilege to live and study in the Provence region as part of an artist residency where I was able to paint, sketch, and draw among many historical French sites. 

Now I live in Nashville with my husband (and Chief Cleanup Officer) Joey, and making macarons has become the perfect fusion between these two passions. The greatest care and attention is put into every one of these little sweets, and I feel so blessed to share them with you!
